About UASFeed

Independent drone & uncrewed-systems news — covering the military programs, counter-UAS fight, industry, and regulation shaping the uncrewed sky.

Founded and published by John Folger. UASFeed is an independent publication and is not affiliated with the Department of Defense, the FAA, or any drone manufacturer.

What we do

We track the uncrewed-systems stories that matter — military UAS programs and battlefield lessons, the counter-drone fight, procurement and the defense-tech industry, commercial operations, FAA rulemaking, and the technology underneath it all. Stories publish when news happens, not on a calendar.

Editorial approach

UASFeed's correspondents report from primary sources — DoD contract announcements and program documents, FAA dockets and rulemaking, company filings and announcements, and credible battlefield reporting. Each article is researched, written, and approved by a named correspondent before publication. Our newsroom uses technology tools to accelerate research and document review; all editorial decisions, factual verification, and final copy are the responsibility of the named author. We don't rewrite other outlets' coverage — we go to the source.
